“THE ARK OF GOD’S RIGHTEOUSNESS”

“Make yourself an ark of gopher-wood; you are to make the

ark with rooms and cover it with pitch both outside and

inside.  Here is how you are to build it:  the length of the ark

is to be 450 feet, its width seventy-five feet and its height

forty-five feet.  You are to make an opening for daylight in

the ark eighteen inches below its roof.  Put a door in its side,

and build it with lower, second and third decks.”

[Genesis 6:14-16]

Destruction was about to come upon the face of the earth.  An impending flood was coming that would cleanse the earth of all wickedness, of violence and corruption.  The seed of corruption had entered into God’s creation.  Every intent of the mind and heart of all living flesh was evil.  The conscience of the earth had become corrupt and the earth lay violated, filled with the shedding of innocent blood and the darkness of moral decay.

The destruction that was coming upon the face of the earth was also coming in the form of renewal.  The “Flood” waters were coming to cleanse the earth of a conscience that denied the right-conscience toward God and had violated the “sanctity of life.”  The “flood” of evil that had covered the earth was about to be encountered by the “Flood of the Almighty.”  God was about to break open all the fountains of the great deep and the windows of heaven were about the be opened.  [Genesis 7:11]

Noah, a righteous man in his generation would find Grace in the sight of God. [Genesis 6:8]  Noah’s heart towards God had secured the “Seed” of the “Promise” of “Future Generations.”  Righteousness had made the Way for God to provide the Ark that could only be entered through righteousness.  “Noah would receive the blueprint for the “Ark Of God’s Righteousness,” the “Ark Of The Covenant” that God would make with Noah.  The measurements of the Ark would be the very “Standards” of God Himself and the Ark would be “Sealed” in the pitch of “God’s Redemption.”

God instructed Noah to bring his family and two from each kind of every living being, male and female, into the Ark, so they could be kept alive.  The prototype that would carry future generations to a greater “Covenant.”

A door was placed in the side of the Ark; the Lord shut him in.  Noah would be carried through the waters of the flood, and all life with him.  On the seventeenth day of the seventh month the Ark would come to rest on the mountains of Ararat.  To evil the impending flood meant destruction, to the land the waters of relief and cleansing, and to Noah the waters of deliverance and life.  Life would come forth from out of the Ark and God would once again pronounce a blessing, “To Noah a seed of righteousness, and to his sons, ‘Be fruitful, multiply and fill the earth.'” [Genesis 9:1]

Once again, we are facing the sign of the times.  Evil has greatly increased on the earth as the land is being defiled through the shedding of innocent blood, in and outside the womb, and as moral genocide is flooding the earth with its wickedness and corruption.  Abraham asked God, “Would you sweep away the righteous with the wicked?”  God made it known to Abraham that from fifty righteous to ten righteous, God would spare the city. [Genesis 18:23-32]  Through one righteous man, named Noah, God spared a creation.  All indicators are once again pointing to the sign of the times.  The heavens are being opened as great rains are coming upon the face of the earth.  The belly of the earth is overflowing with its waters from the deep.  These rains are a sign of what is about to be a spiritual and simultaneous release from Heaven.  From out of Heaven is coming the “Great Outpouring of the Rain of God’s Holy Spirit,” as simultaneously from out of the belly of God’s people shall flow Rivers of Living Water.

“This flood will not be as the Great Flood of Noah.  This Flood is coming to cleanse the hearts and consciences of men, leading men to repentance.”
