"THE RICHES OF GOD"
Then God said, “Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing
plants and tress on the land that bear fruit with seed in it,
according to their various kinds.” And it was so. The Land
produced vegetation: plants bearing seed according to their kinds.
And God saw that it was good. And there was evening, and there
was morning the third day.” [Genesis 1:11-13]
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. [Genesis 1:1] In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through Him all things were made; without Him nothing was made that has been made. [John 1:1-3]
From out of the very Thrust of the Breadth of God was seed that would bring forth life and would birth a new creation. This seed, the very Word of God. Each day, God spoke, it was, and God blessed it. God’s pronouncement of blessing over the seed: Increase – the ability to multiply. Within the seed lay the power of regeneration. Every seed holding the potential to reproduce after it’s own kind. Within each seed, the mystery, power and potential for life.
By itself, seed could do nothing. There would be laws that would govern over seed. God in His Goodness had given man the abundance of all that is seed-bearing. There would be a relationship between man and seed. Man would respond to natural laws governing over seed and spiritual laws governing over seed, through sowing and reaping.
A cooperation, a partnership of seedtime and harvest, of sowing and reaping. Man understood the natural laws of sowing and reaping. He understood that the seed he held in his hand was predestined with the potential of producing specific harvests. For the seed and the mystery of life that it held, within its womb, the conditions had to be right for it to burst forth with life and yield its harvest. There would be a “spiritual partnership” between man and seed. The “partnership” sown in the Covenant of “sowing and reaping.”
Within each seed, prophetic life, “The Riches of God,” to produce after its own kind. The wealth of the harvest would be determined upon the wealth of the seed sown. Increase of seed would be determined by the harvest previously sown. The Laws of God were flawless. “What you sow you reap.” God would not be mocked.
Man would plant by faith. Seed would be sown in the secret place, a place man could not see. At the appointed time, the Laws of God would prove to be faithful, and life would spring forth from the hidden place. The relationship between God and man, man and seed, would be established. Through learning and gaining knowledge and understanding in the natural realm, God would now reveal to man a higher dimension: “The spiritual dimension of sowing and reaping.”
There would be “spiritual laws” governing over the abundance of what God had given unto man. God would require a tenth of all that He had given, the abundance of all that He had “blessed” man with. The first tenth over all that God had given, belonged to God. The Redeemable Portion sown in the secret place before the Lord. This portion of greatest significance. This portion, the “Covenant” between God and man. This “Seed” relationship and intimacy. The “Tithe” the “Seed” that would honor man’s Covenant Relationship with God. This “Seed,” sown out of the “Wealth” of one’s personal relationship between God and man, man and God.
There would be specific Offerings made in addition to the Tithe. Offerings of contributions would also be brought to the storerooms of the Temple of the Lord. The Tithes and Offerings of Israel and Judah’s “blessings” would fill the storehouses with the “Wealth of God’s Covenant,” meeting the needs of God’s Priesthood. The Priesthood who lived before the Lord would meet the needs of God’s People.
The “Covenant Relationship” of sowing and reaping was revealed. The richness of generosity would determine the bounty of harvests and the harvests of the abundance of seed. Wealth determined by one’s faithfulness to honor “God’s Spiritual Laws of Prosperity,” blessing every area of life.
The Lord declared through His Prophet Malachi:
“I the Lord do not change. So you O descendants of Jacob,
are not destroyed. Ever since the time of your forefathers you
have turned away from My decrees and have not kept them.
Return to Me, and I will return to you,” says the Lord Almighty.
“But you ask, ‘How are we to return?’ “Will a man rob God?
Yet you rob Me. “But you ask, ‘How do we rob You?’
“In tithes and offerings. You are under a curse–the whole nation
of you–because you are robbing Me. Bring the whole tithe into
the storehouse, that there may be food in My House. Test Me in
this,” says the Lord Almighty, and see if I will not throw open
the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you
will not have room enough for it. I will prevent pests from
devouring your crops, and the vines in your fields will not cast
their fruit,” says the Lord Almighty. “Then all the nations will
call you blessed, for yours will be a delightful land,” says the
Lord Almighty. [Malachi 3:6-12]
Sowing in the secret place of the riches of God’s Spirit, God had revealed the many facets of His loving-kindness through His multi diversity of seed-bearing. There are many seeds that will produce harvests of “The Riches Of God.” The diversity of our harvests will depend upon the diversity of seeds we sow. The abundance of our harvests will be determined by the generosity of our hearts toward God.
“As the Word that goes out from my mouth will not
return to Me void, neither will the seed that you sow
unto Me return to you void.”
